National Standard 3104 Aluminum Alloy Chemical Composition – Properties and Applications
Basic Properties and Applications of 3104 Aluminum Sheet The 3104 aluminum sheet, also known as 3104 Al-Mg-Mn alloy, belongs to the 3000 series of rust-proof aluminum alloys. Its primary alloying elements are magnesium and manganese. The chemical composition of 3104 aluminum alloy includes magnesium content between 0.8-1.2% and manganese content between 0.8-1.4%, making it a 3000 series product with excellent anti-corrosion properties. As a wrought aluminum alloy, 3104 sheet boasts a tensile strength of ≥275 MPa and relatively high elongation. 3104 aluminum sheet offers good deep-drawing formability and corrosion resistance, making it easy to process and shape. It is widely used in applications such as aluminum blinds, lamp socket materials, can end stock (for beverage cans), automotive fuel tanks, aluminum bottle cap materials, and pipe insulation. 3104 Aluminum Alloy Chemical Composition Element Content (%) Si ≤ 0.6 Fe ≤ 0.8 Cu 0.05 – 0.25 Mn 0.8 – 1.4 Mg 0.8 – 1.3 Cr Not Specified Ni Not Specified Zn ≤ 0.25 V Not Specified Ti ≤ 0.1 Zr Not Specified Other Impurities ≤ 0.2 Al Remainder Mingtai Aluminum 3104 Aluminum Sheet Product Specifications Available Tempers: F, O, H12, H14, H16, H18, H19, H22, H24, H26, H28, H111, H112, H114 Thickness...
